Have you ever played the game called "I never?" It can be used as an ice-breaker type game, or more often, it's a drinking game. It's a fun way to get to know people. For fun, here's a few things that I've never done.

I've never....

1. done anything chemical to my hair- although with the amount of grey hairs popping up, that may change soon. I sure have saved a lot of money over the years not getting perms or other hair treatments.

2. broken a bone- enough said!

3. saddled my own horse- yeah well, "Sarah" means princess, ya know! I think I could manage if I had to, but why would I need to?!

4. learned to like cooked peas- I just can't eat cooked peas by themselves. If they are mixed in with other veggies or fried rice, it's usually fine.

5. been to all the states in the U.S.- but I hope to get to them all by the end of my lifetime. I think I have 17 states plus DC so far. Lots to go. It looks like I will get to add at least 2 more by the end of 2023.

6. ridden on a motorcycle- I've never really had the desire. Of course I've driven or ridden on plenty of ATVs but never on something with only two wheels. I'm okay with that.

7. smoked marijuana- pretty crazy for a girl born and raised in Humboldt County, right?!

8 & 9. missed an election nor voted in person- Since I became old enough to vote, I've never missed voting in a state/national election. And I've never voted in person! I prefer to vote absentee and plan to continue to do that.

10. received a speeding ticket- once again, enough said!
